Wishbone Vintage was such a fun and playful project! Working with the founder Marie, we discussed her vision and goals for the brand, which led to the initial brand concept. I suggested we lean into a script-like font that embodied the elegance of her beautiful photography while balancing the playful colors of her clothing with a "mature" rainbow color palette.
The Issue
Marie has been selling vintage clothing since 2020. She had reached the point in her business where she was ready to invest in professional brand design with the goal of increasing customer awareness and wanted to appear more professional, as an established business owner in her niche but didn't know where to start.
Our Solution
I had Marie create a mood board to clarify her brand's aesthetic. We then defined her goals, brand personality, and analyzed her customer behavior using Instagram analytics. This allowed me to develop a clear visual understanding. Following the revision process, we landed on the final design, an organic, serif font representing the elegance of her photography while capturing the colorful, playful nature of her clothing.
