Salacia Treasure is a small nyc jewelry brand designed by Karis Reiter. Her collection features handmade earrings and necklaces crafted with the shells she has collected while exploring the Rockaway beaches in New York. The name Salacia comes from the goddess of the water and sea. Our goal was to design a brand identity that reflected this etherial, celestial, nature-inspired visual identity. What resulted was a custom logo that encapsulates the waves and natural flow of the ocean. The brand illustrations reflect the materials that define her unique designs while the color palette is light and balanced, nodding to calm ocean blues, with soft gold and light pink calling on the mysticism surrounding goddess Salacia.
