Spiral jewelry is a fictional brand I created based on my love of jewelry design. my goal was to design an affordable jewelry brand inspired by natural imagery that embodies a playfulness & whimsy directed towards a Gen Z and young millennial audience. As part of the strategy behind this project, I created a customer profile, to better understand the demographic and consumer habits of the brands ideal customer. Then I proceeded with designing a mood board, and started sketching designs on Procreate, to use within the brand assets. Once I had vectorized my designs, the ad and packaging design flowed easily. My goal was to showcase what this brand could look like through an advertising perspective-- whether it be a wheat pasting, magazine or mural design. Fictional projects like this bring me heaps of joy, with the space to explore and freedom to experiment with different layouts and concepts.
Salacia Treasure is a small nyc jewelry brand by Karis Reiter, featuring handmade earrings and necklaces crafted with the shells she's collected while exploring the Rockaways. The name Salacia comes from the goddess of the water and sea and we wanted her branding to reflect this. What resulted was a custom drawn font that encapsulates the waves and natural flow of the ocean. The brand illustrations reflect the materials that define her unique designs while the color palette is light and balanced, nodding to ocean blues, with soft gold and light pink calling on the mysticism of Salacia.
